Nat Santangelo june 21, 1939 – June 18, 2005 |

Nat wasn’t just a loving husband and father, he was also my best friend and advisor. Without his hard work and help it would not have been possible for me to have all the wonderful miniature horses that I have. Even though the horses weren’t his thing, he was always there to help me do whatever building, mending or repairs that needed to be done for the horses. He did , however, enjoy watching the babies run around in the pasture and kicking up their heels. It would put a smile on his face. The photograph above was taken in December , about a month before his condition deteriorated due to the cancer and the treatments. I am so glad I talked him into doing it. On June 18th Nat lost his battle with cancer. I really miss having him here with me.
God saw that you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, So he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me”. With tearful eyes I watched you, and saw you pass away. Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove that he only takes the best. Love you Always Nat
